Agog - /əˈɡäɡ/ adjective - very eager or curious to hear or see something. Nick Barrows (Jack Burton Overdrive, Macready UK, JetLab) is very excited to once again present another round of experimental songs that will be released in an 11 part monthly series called the Agog Sessions.
As Imperfect, the first HHF album, was a semi-improvised venture, the Agog Sessions is a more focused and curious collection of tracks hoping to find a more positive conclusion. Agog is bigger than a specific moment, flowing up and down, back and forth throughout the timeline, whether reliving a best friend’s creative works (J in the Basement) or memories of a bygone time when myth and reality came to a crashing head on one mischievous night (Devil’s Night). While the world still presents reasons for high anxiety and concern, Hare Hunter Field’s Agog Sessions hopes to push past these symptoms and create music that will result in hope, excitement and resolution.
